WiFi Fence Painting

A norwegian team built a 12 foot rod of blinking light that measures wifi signal strength. When walking slowly and shot with a long-exposure, it illuminates the wifi fences surrounding their town.

Man on a Guinness World Record mission hand-draws his black marker collection to date.

Inspired by a Guinness Book of World Records entry for the largest collection of cigarette rolling papers, Toronto-based artist Allister Lee of Studio B.I.B decided it was time to set a goal for himself and started collecting black markers. To "mark" the 500th acquisition in this graffiti-culture obsession, and midpoint to his overall goal (and hopefully Guinness record!), he's released a hand-drawn print that shows the complete historical and international spectrum of the 500 pens in his collection to date.

1. That statistic about 100 Million people? That's just the US. There are 2 Billion internet users worldwide.

Which means that the majority of human beings are not online.

2. Porn is a $13 Billion industry. That is amazing considering how hard it is to sell content right now. According to Forbes magazine, in 2001, the business was about a $10-14 Billion industry.

So, porn grew during the recession and piracy crisis.

It alerts members to each other's proximity and gets them to interact in random "situations". These situations vary from the friendly "Hug me for 5 seconds exactly" or "Compliment me on my haircut", to the subversive eg "Help me rouse everyone around us into revolutionary fervour and storm the nearest TV station".
